DIN 417 Carbon Steel Slotted Set Screws With Long Dog Point

1 The marking of the tightening screw performance level is indicated by the number and the letter "H". The number indicates 1/10 of the minimum Vickers hardness value, and H indicates hardness. Hexagon socket set screws do not have 14H, 22H and 33H grades.

 

2 14H grade, when using free-cutting steel, the maximum content of phosphorus, sulfur and lead are 0.11%, 0.34% and 0.35%, respectively.

 

3 14H square head tight screws allow surface hardening.

 

4 22H~45H grade, steel with a maximum lead content of 0.35% can be used.

 

Alloy steel for grade 45H shall contain one or more alloying elements of chromium, nickel, vanadium or boron.

 

6 22H class, if the demand side adopts the Rockwell hardness test, the HRB minimum value and the HRC maximum value should be adopted.

 

7 45H, does not agree to have a full decarburization layer.

 

8 H1—The height of the external thread at maximum solid conditions.
