Stainless steel product surface brightness problem  

Stainless steel fasteners are mainly cold heading, in the process of processing the product surface will remain oil and cold heading process carbon deposition, so stainless steel fasteners need to be cleaned to restore their stainless steel color, has achieved better visual effect.  In order to achieve the cleaning effect of the product, it is necessary to use a high concentration of acidic agent or hydrofluoric acid mixed in water to clean the product. Therefore, the different concentration of acidic agent or hydrofluoric acid used for cleaning will cause a difference in the brightness of the product surface.  

In terms of corrosion resistance, our company conducted a salt spray test comparison between the bright product cleaned with high concentration of acidic agent and the product with stainless steel surface after ordinary cleaning. After 72 hours of salt spray, there was no difference in corrosion resistance between the two products.  Therefore, the surface brightness of stainless steel fasteners has no difference to the actual performance of the products.
